The ensemble started 1995 and consists at present of the initial members Jutta & Klaus Peill (Spilwîp Maria and Markward, Pfeil von Elberfeld). The couple is practicing music together for over 25 years in different formations and dedicated itself during the years to the most diverse style directions like celtic folk, a capella, overtone singing, worldmusic and Middle Age and Renaissance music.
